Working Mama: M. Ann Ricks

If you’ve been reading my blog this week you’ll know that I’m celebrating working mama’s. Now what do I mean by working right? All moms work! This week I’m specifically speaking of mom’s who are doing multiple things that are beneficial to hundreds of people in an unselfish manner.

Monday I featured Melissa Leraye Legions

Tuesday I featured Tara Pringle Jefferson

Today my spotlight is on M. Ann Ricks… she’s the proud mom of two intelligent and athletic college men,  a Zumba teacher and a Christian Fiction Author.  One of my favorite books from M. Ann is The Blood Done Signed My Name. Here is the synopsis.

Honey Lamb, the main character, is a descendant of an unfortunate legacy of molestation, addiction, murder and bad decisions. During her entire life, she believed that the unhappiness she experienced was somehow bequeathed to her. Experiencing more than her share of misery at the hands of her mother, the source of all her woes, Honey believed she’d overcome her checkered past when she married Mason. Unfortunately, Honey makes a decision that may have ruined her life. Not realizing God places people in our lives for His purpose, she reluctantly embarks upon a journey that will open her heart to a divine inheritance. From one chapter to the next, her life unfolds into an awakening and acceptance of how to change with the help of God and those around her.

M. Ann has written a total of four inspirational novels that all speak to the power of God in our lives. Please check out her Amazon page and make a purchase, you won’t be disappointed.

I know this Mother’s Day is going to be a little difficult for Melissa but I trust that God is going to see her though.

Keep on writing, God has a plan.

Happy Mother’s Day!
