Just in case you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know, this week is #NYFW (New York Fashion Week) designers, models and celebrities have taken over NYC with their stylish fashion; showing us what we should look like for Spring 2016. Earlier today I had the pleasure of attending an event at the Gregory Hotel sponsored by StyleBlazer and Caravan Stylist Studios. Caravan Stylist Studio, is an innovative wardrobe and beauty studio that pairs actresses, tastemakers and media influencers with top fashion designers and beauty experts located at THE GREGORY in New York City. I had an amazing time!
My makeup artist Imani beat my face like there is no tomorrow! She was sweet, not to chatty and enjoys what she does. She asked me questions about the look I was going after and I had to tell her that Mrs. Deveter doesn’t wear makeup, however when a free session is available I’m all for it! Imani gave me a beautiful smokey eye, lashes, pouty fuchsia lips and I’m LOVING IT! So much so that I’m considering doing a 30 Day Make up challenge (stay tuned for more)!
After my face was successfully and beautifully made over, I was treated to a lovely Master Brew Kombucha drink by Kevita, perused the interesting dolls and fashions created by KahriAnne Kerr an Iowa farm girl turned NYC fashion designer/artist/author extraordinaire and picked up a nicely packaged gift box which included ChapStick’s new Total Hydration line, fashion eye wear from Coastal, shimmer strips from Physicians Formula, a daily freshness kit from Carefree, Lock Luster from Not Your Mother’s and Body Polish from Fake Bake from my friends at StyleBlazer!
