2021 has started off with some speechless moments. The US Capitol was under siege like something out of one of my TV shows. There is a new strain of COVID and Officer Hooks from the movie Police Academy died.
What all of this has shown me is that there are endless opportunities in life. Opportunities to do right or wrong, be safe or at risk and to live a life above reproach. During my self defined year of pivot I have done something that I never thought I would do. I was in front of a camera reading a poem from a teleprompter.
This year of the pivot is pushing me to do things I’ve been afraid of but excited to try. I left my kids at home (with a sitter) for one night was asked to stay another, and didn’t hesitate to say yes. I’m open to opportunities. I don’t know where they will come from and I don’t always know how they will work out… but I’m open and doing it at times afraid.
I encourage you to keep your heart and mind open to opportunities, they are endless.
