I am a Christian woman.
My husband and I are raising Christian children.
As a Christian prayer is very important to us. It is our line of communication to God the Father, through Jesus Christ the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. “MrsDeveter”, you may be thinking “what does this have to do with the twins?”

WELL. .. while sitting on the couch this weekend as a family, I was doing Leah’s hair and we were watching something of no consequence on television; out of the clear blue sky Myles said “Mommy can you pray?” Typically prayer is reserved for before meals and bedtime (the kids reservation, not mine). So naturally this request threw me for a loop. My mind had about 25 questions, but my mouth and my heart simply said ok.
I prayed. I prayed for our family, giving thanks for all the blessing that God has bestowed upon us, I asked for forgiveness of our sins, prayed for the health and well-being of all of our family and friends, near and far and finally I played that Myles continues to be the sweet thoughtful and loving boy that he is.
I am a part of the children’s church ministry at my church New Life Cathedral in Brooklyn NY, #TeamNLC. During our last session I began a series on prayer. Myles was not in attendance at the service but his twin was. He didn’t learn anything that I taught that Sunday but his twin did… I share that because I wonder was he tuned in, in some way to the topic of prayer, via Leah #twinpowers?
Prayer has been a major theme for me over the past month or so. My dear friend released her very first prayer CD and I encourage you to go check it out. It will really bless your life and the lives of your loved ones. Please visit her site today www.SMondesire.com the name of the CD is Ruling from the Place of Prayer! Very powerful.
Until next time….
