Women In Ministry: Pastor Lois Rochford

Hey Y’all,

As promised here is my Black History Month celebration of Black women. I decided that I would celebrate Black women in ministry and I’ve chosen to honor women I know personally.
I pray you enjoy my contribution to Black History Month and that you are inspired by the women I honor.

First up is the Senior Executive Pastor of New Life Cathedral Pastor Lois Rochford

Stats: Pastor Lois is the First Lady of New Life Cathedral, under the capable leadership of her husband, Bishop Robert Joel Rochford. She is Pastor of Worship and Sacred Arts and President of the Women’s Department of New Life Cathedral. For several years, Pastor Rochford further extended her passion and ministry to develop well-balanced women through a weekly telecast, Naomi’s Side, which aired on WNYW-channel 26. Her burden is for women to live balanced and productive lives. She teaches women the importance of balancing the demands of home and ministry, with home being the first priority. Pastor Rochford is president of Your Sunday Best Everyday, LLC, whose mission is to assist women in maximizing their God-given potential to express a fusion of Faith and Fashion – Inner Beauty with an outer Manifestation. She is available for workshops, seminars, and private consultations.

Education: Graduate of Beyond the Walls Life Coaching under the mentor-ship of Reverend Dr. Jacqueline McCullough.

Family Life: Pastor Lois seeks to exhibit the spirit of excellence in all that she does, thereby giving all glory to Jesus Christ as Lord, who is the center of her joy. To add to her joy, she has been married to Bishop Rochford for 32 years and they are the parents of two children, Melaine Robyn and Robert Joel II.
