Call Me Cover Girl

… I never thought that I would end up being the first POC on the cover!

Y’all I am on the cover of a magazine!

So here’s the thing I crochet which y’all already know but I was tasked with writing a pattern for Crochet Foundry Magazine and I did! I wrote a simple pattern for crochet earrings! Not only that but while in NOLA for the Crochet Guild of America conference in July I was photographed and featured not only IN the magazine but on the COVER of the magazine!

To say I was shocked is an understatement. I shared with the creators of the magazine, quite some time ago that they needed to feature more people of color on the cover of the magazine. I never thought that I would end up being the first POC on the cover! I’m thankful for the favor and opportunity and hope that folks are inspired and realize that the magazine is for them too!

The September issue of Crochet Foundry features five brand new, exclusive designs including; a dress, earrings, a wall hanging, a shawl, and a pullover! The September issue has designs showcasing beautiful color tones that range from blues and greens! My Show Stopper earrings are made in a beautiful blue thread but can be made in any color!

The written pattern is only available in the September 2022 issue of the Crochet Foundry Magazine.
