During Women’s History Month this year, I’ll be celebrating Grandmothers.

Below is a little something that AI created about the different names of grandmothers. Before we get into that I want to salute the best Nanna there ever was, my mother! Marian Bennett was the epitome of a Grandmother. She was resourceful (bringing snacks to the movie theater for $1 movie days), patient (packing 6-7 kids in a small car), organized (nobody uses plastic baggies and bins the way she did), fun-loving (summer pool days were her thing), no-nonsense (potty trained just about all of her grandchildren in the span of a week), God-fearing Christian (all her grands attended church when in her care) and so much more. She would send Valentine’s Day gifts and birthday cards with money taped in them. She was an advocate, a supporter, and a disciplinarian. She was the best Nanna ever and all of her grandchildren were blessed to know her!

Grandmothers hold a special place in our hearts. They’re the ones who often shower us with love, wisdom, and homemade treats.
